WeatherMate 4.3 finally working under XP.
(just ignore the "Cannot create application shortcuts" warning)
During initial run, a tiny temperature icon is created in the system tray.
Thereafter, right click the icon to set personal options, such as position of main WM43 window, local preferences, forecasts display periods and so on.
Nifty app.

Bug fixes:
- On Windows XP systems, the application crashes when attempting to create a shortcut on the desktop or in the Start menu's Startup folder.
- The application's up time (in the "About" window) is invalid on WinXP systems.
- Fixed intermittent network connectivity issues.

Just released Version 4.1 (15-MAR-2015) is unfortunately crashing (under XP, at least).
Developer Ravi Bhavnani swiftly confirmed the bug and promised a fix to be released next week in Version 4.2
