An excellent and important utility! Using a different (local) text handler for each and every time we input text is a cognetics nightmare which TEA solves quite neatly within our present architecture.

This is a great program. When I was using multiple editors to get the best of each (NotePad++, LibreOffice, and Dreamweaver), I used this frequently. Also works well with gpg4usb.

It works well as long as you stick to editing your text and refrain from switching to various other apps - to research something for your text etc. |

I am unsure if all would consider it portable, but this application is no longer stealth. The following folder/file are created each time the application is run:

@DavesNotHere: After the extraction of the installer, you have to create a file named "portable" or "portable.txt" in the app folder.

I created the zero-byte file "portable" in the app folder and voila! It is portable and stealth. Thanks! I don't know how I missed that step. |
Xenu's Link Sleuth checks websites for broken links. Verification is done on "normal" HREF links, as well as images, frames, plug-ins, backgrounds, local image maps, style sheets, scripts, and java applets. It displays a continuously updated list of URLs which you can sort by various criteria. A report can be produced at any time.

@billon: awesome news, this program only comes up once in a while but it's a huge help. I was wondering if it worked with newer web linking methods. |
WinSock Repair resets the Windows Sockets API (WinSock for short) configuration to defaults or clean state. This service defines how networking software should access network services. The connection problems Winsock Repair can solve include losing network connections, DNS lookup problems, websites becoming unavailable, limited network connections plus many more.

Note: Command-line options are available to give you more control over timing of the launches and the ability to create multiple lists and specify which you would like to use. To launch files with command line parameters, create a shortcut with the parameters set, and use the path to the shortcut file (.lnk) in the list, instead of a direct path to the application. |

Been using this app for a few years and it's great. I work part time at 3 different jobs and have a list created for each office. Run the appropriate command line first thing in the morning and all the programs/files I need for the day are loaded and ready to go.

A good simple alternative to Splat if you are only interested in launching programs.

Very useful and simple tool for launching programs, opening folders, URLs, etc. with a shortcut. Launch lists use a text file so it's super easy to modify lists quickly and easily with the default txt editor. |

This is an extremely fast launching tabbed editor. Although light on features, it's very good for quickly scanning files and makes a good notepad replacement.

It seems that Extreme Editor has been abandoned long time ago. It's minimalistic and extremely light but lacks essential features such as URL detection and encoding (it is useless with Unicode characters). |
