QIcon Changer is a small tool that allow you to patch the icon of any kind of application (including .exe and .scr), overwriting the previous icon resource with the new one you chose. Just drag an icon file (.ico) from your desktop then drop to the application layer then do the same process with your target application, drag an executable from your desktop then drop in the application layer then you can apply the modification and enjoy your new application icon.

Note: If the target application is compressed / packed it will not be able to patch the icon because most packer will make resource format invalid.

@bzl333: have a look at Folderico (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1301).

Try PEIconChanger - http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=21358

It is better then QIconChanger because it supports importing icon from exe files which QIconChanger dose not support

Looks like with 8.98 they've removed even more features from the previous 9.87 free version (detect well-known whitelisted libraries/blacklisted resources), funny they don't mention that in the changelog.

Website seems to have changed.

Babyscout19 on 2014-06-28 21:21

I want to REALLY download this to make some soft terrains and backgrounds...... But i cant because the site has changed and now it asks me what system I am running and the budget I have available to spend.... I would like this to be updated... So as for now, unfortunately, thumbs down. Please update as necessary and I will be happy to review the program further. :)
