It also supports aliases, special commands (eg. http:, mailto:, callto: etc.) and a built-in calculator.

Hmm, could we have a new contender in the program launchers category and give Executor some competition?

Okay, just took a look at the features list. It doesn't offer hotkey support to launch programs like Executor does. But the program is quite powerful, just not as powerful as Executor ;) |
Hidden Menu creates an invisible menu only visible when the mouse is moved over a section of your screen (by default the bottom-right). A user-defined menu pops up allowing you to launch applications, files and shortcuts. You can also drag-and-drop applications directly to this menu, which can hold multiple columns as well as labeled separators.

This could be a nice 'Pendrive Menu' but I've had problems with lost menu data.

Doesn't run for me on Win10. Launches, locks up and I have to force close to get rid of it. That's from a clean run. |

It should be noted that if you do not change the *default* settings for "Always show in system tray" (Preferences...>Miscellaneous), the program will add to your registry:

Portable Application Launcher includes all the features this launcher has plus many, many more. |
SlickRun is a floating keyword utility that allows you to create command aliases, or "MagicWords" that launch applications or URLs. For example, "browse" can be set to open Firefox, "note" to open Notepad, and more. You can type an application's path or location as well.
The program includes its own notepad program opened by typing "jot", but major applications such as MS Office and Online Shopping resources can be added using add-on packs available on the website.
SlickRun supports auto-completion, relative paths and drive letter macro for improved portability.

@CB13RY: from my quick checking, it seems that if you run the portable version once, it creates a 'Settings.ini' file in the application folder; you can edit this file with any text editor to change the paths included -- I was able to change from absolute path to filename only... |

@Cornflower - I just visited the website and it seems to be working okay. Still, if they're having domain or site issues, it's good to have an archive.org link handy. Thanks.

LiberKey is a portable launcher that serves as a gateway to prepackaged portable apps available in the LKS format (basically 7Zip archive with a particular directory structure). It works just as well for non-LKS apps, and comes with a whole suite of other functions including portable file associations, portable desktop shortcuts, and online updates of LKS applications.
The launcher itself is flexible with right-handed quick launch bar and supports tabs, categories, smart search etc. Includes a floating quick launcher that you can pin to the desktop.

@webb. Good work and interesting points made by yourself and the developer. Now we know why no documentation exists on SF. More might use this if a detailed overview was available describing what it does and its usefulness compared to similar apps.
