Or am I wrong?

webfork on 2015-05-16 20:00

CornHolio: It should cover most issues but unfortunately security issues come in forms other than scripting exploits. It might make sense to run the program inside a sandboxing tool.

Sure, thats a good advice.

Hi Kea, I just took a look at Koma-Mail v3.83 and I can't find ANY obvious way to switch the ONLINE mode on or off. I downloaded the user manual, (web pages), and can find 2 references to it but no means of doing it. I also sent an email 'Koma-Code' but haven't had a reply as yet.

Still, it seems to be working anyway.

Technomancer on 2015-01-26 20:44

OK. I'm still using KomaMail and I still like it. I've set the 'Check Mail' time to 5 Minutes but it does't seem to automatically check at all.
If anyone CAN contact the author I think Komamail is well worth continuing to develop it and with the feedback from this forum it could be excellent.

Technomancer on 2015-01-26 20:55

OOPS!
I forgot. It's a shame that KomaMail isn't Open Source then someone could 'debug' and develop it. The athors web page doesn't seem to have been updated since 2004

Important to know:
i.Scribe Free only support one (1) mail account.

Falaffel on 2017-07-26 21:38

Hy,

I tried zo use I.Scribe vie Imap with my Mailbox. Unfortunately the Imap functionality of I-Scribethis seems to be completely not in a good sape. The performance when synchronizing folder or moving/deleting Emails is very, very slow.
Could it be I am making anything wrong or the actual build has some bugs?

webfork on 2017-07-27 04:07

@Falaffel: I'm not an i.Scribe user so you probably want to try contacting support about that. Failing that, you might try listing something in our troubleshooting forums to see if someone has run into a similar issue.
