Sysinternals Process Monitor & Process Explorer
Re: Sysinternals Process Monitor 1.37 & Process Explorer 11.
Just tested out BgInfo. This program is a must-have for Windows sysadmins for multiple machines with different components.

Re: Sysinternals Process Monitor 1.37 & Process Explorer 11.
Tested: Unknown
1. Writes more than just the one sysinternals key, also saves information to \hkcu\software\winternals\bginfo and a bunch of crap to HKLM\Software\classes
2. Saves file to \User\Local Settings\Temp
The nature of the program is to write a few system settings, but I can't tell if its writting too much or not. As sort of an edge case, someone else's feedback would be valuable.
