Executor is a program launcher and replacement for the Windows "Run" tool. It supports user-defined keywords, hotkeys for apps, auto-completion for keywords/file system/history, optional Vista-like results list, integrated calculator etc.

I believe that the decision for using this or that launching application is very much an individual thing. I dont know why - but I think that this one is much better than Launchy or Keylauncher ...
...very easy to start with - very fast and slim ...

SlickRun doesn't give you that nice results list. btw: If you UPX Executor.exe, it gets down to 350KiB ... nice!

I've tried a good many of these "launch" programs, and Executor is by far the best. It has a simple, easy-to-use keyword interface, is highly customizable, and is generally very user-friendly. Highly recommended.

Actually this program does right to the HKEY element of the registry. I've been using Excecutor for ages and in my view easily is the best Launcher out there. So, a little disappointed to see that it does, in fact, make some for of registry entry.

No doubt it is very fast. I have tried almost all launchers mentioned by the portablefreewares.com and others like LiberKey, Lupo PenSuite,win PenPack, this is the fastest launcher. However, it has three deficiencies. If these are removed, this one will be the best of all. The deficiencies are:-(1) It can not import data from XML of other launchers as others do. (2)It can not scan files from the given folders, as others do and (3)We have to make many entries to find an application, for example for "Burning Text". We require four entries under "Burning Test", "Test", "Processor" and "System". A system has to be evolved to enter once to find under all headings-whether by ;, ||, etc.

What is going on.. it seems that executor development is stalled. Shame, such a promising program, maybe the developer should release the code and make it open source.

Lightning fast after it indexes. Indexed over 1k folders in a portable directory quickly. Interesting to see if this further develops.

I use the windows run dialoge all the time. This handy little app is going to make my life so much easier. Very customizable and fast. Once I deleted the unwanted skins it took less than 1MB of my USB key.
