AutoHideDesktopIcons

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

AutoHideDesktopIcons

This is a submission for AutoHideDesktopIcons, available here.

It is a program which auto-hides (and un-hides) the icons on a user's desktop, allowing for a cleaner interface. It is configurable, allowing for several different settings.

Useful, but I've just discovered that it's easier to use PowerPro for this purpose.

Hotkey: middle desk
Command: Desktop HideShowIcons

This way middle-clicking on the Desktop toggles desktop icons.

On Windows 7: right click on desktop >> View >> (Untick) Show desktop icons.
