New Category Suggestion 2

Hello There,

First of all, great site!

I would like to suggest the category "Request Portable Apps" or something.

I want to request some really portable .DJVU viewer, to run from my pendrive without any need to set up keys in the registry. I can't install (without hacks) any appz in my university, so, a .djvu viewer (not a plugin, please) will be very appreciate.

As webfork said, Welcome! We have all be in your shoes before, so no problems. If you take my choice, I would suggest looking at the Unofficial (nearly Official) JauntePE Website, to get an idea of the current re-development that literally started a month ago.

Plus, I did see that version on PortableApps but was waiting for webfork (who loves Java) to post about it.

Despite this thread's focus on a DVJU viewer and issues related to the format, I wanted to point out that a portable software author Rizone has posted asking for requests on his site.

In addition, having some kind of portable request forum or thread would be good in case any developers out there are looking for ideas to produce.
