From what I understand, iblocklist (default PeerBlock lists provider, based on bluetack) is not updating their lists anymore (although the subscription costs 9.99$/year). Is this true? Are there any alternatives to use with PeerBlock?

That's a shame. I don't know of a similar tool. That hosts file auto-update tool came close but I had too many problems w/ it to recommend.

very possible.. I use a simple batch-file-curl
I don't use these lists very often, they are very aggressive, but they are necessary to have them available when required

Agreed. I think that would be very useful. I've seen a few variations on what Peerblock was supposed to represent, usually around a HOSTS file manager. I think Peerblock did it best.

I've put together PeerBlock Plus Portable, replacing our existing PeerBlock Portable package. It comes bundled the combined list from divadsn which is automatically updated daily as you start the app. I may update it to also include the CombinedPrivacyBlockLists combined p2p as well. Depends on whether they start being updated again (last updated 2 months ago).
