how long does submission validation usually take

Initial posts take usually about a day for someone to review and decide on.

I don't see any program submissions in the queue under your username.

@ stifiling: Your submitted app is still in "private" status and needs to be voted by other users. You can visit this "private" site if you enter [#] and press search.
The counter (presently not visible to you due to your ranking) must be a least "10" to leave the "private" status and come to the main page.
Your counter is presently at "0". It looks like: Popularity score (6/0)

One of my submissions (added 21.08.2011) is still at "private". If users won't like it, it will stay there forever

It helps that you post to the "Portable Freeware Submission" forum with a link to your submitted app and asking others to vote.
