Need a Dictionary

#1 Post by Local »

One of the only things I'm having any trouble finding is a portable ENGLISH dictionary.

I've just tried Everest JPe'ized and before that I've used word web.

I have Babylon installed on my machine with the Oxford dictionary and thesaurus plugins but I need a portable (and preferably free) one to use.

I did try the Babylon portable but somehow it killed all of my settings for the installed version telling me that it may not be as portable as I'd like.

Has anyone found a good small dictionary that is in UK English, or even a plugin for one of the ones listed on TPFC?

Thanks man, been trying that this afternoon =)

I like it so far but it's still a little on the large side.

I have a couple of 120 - 256 MB sticks and the such so 30MB for the dictionary is a lt of space.

I've found 2 that are 10MB or under, the only problem is the American English.

*sigh*

I guess I'll start having to learn to spell another way.
haha.

Yadabyte Dictionary is small, and not bad. Just for spelling though.
