Great example of a false-positive

#1 Post by webfork »

We have a lot of virus notes in program comments and its a big, unnecessary headache for many freeware developers. Anyone not real clear on the concept of a false positive should read this Slashdot article where Microsoft's anti-virus tool flags Google Chrome. Just as real life security frequently errs on the side of caution, your anti-virus software is going to report threats where there are none.
