There are two other portable tools by the same name that do exactly the same thing:

Virtual Drive Manager (VDM) is a tiny but very useful utility used to create virtual drives - maps of the contents of folders. Drive-mapping is similar to the DOS command SUBST, but VDM is much more than SUBST, it is very easy to use with a good GUI interface and it can restore all virtual drives automatically on windows restarting.

The Virtual Drives (also known as MS-DOS device names) is the symbolic links, in the object name space in 32-bit versions of Windows, which points to the directories of your existing drives (hard, floppy, CD and so on). The code that converts an MS-DOS path into a corresponding path in 32-bit versions of Windows uses these symbolic links to map the virtual devices and drive letters.

Cool! But this one has been updated in the last 12months, which I know isn't a big deal but the developer is still active.

I recommend renaming the program to Leelu Virtual Drives Manager just to avoid confusion.

I checked into this a little out of curiosity and here's some of the fruits of my research to hopefully save others time:

Actually its important, since the older one wasn't even tested to work on Windows XP, much less Windows 7.

Yeah there's a few here I'll test...

• Clipboard Rules tool looks interesting. If it could detect HTML, XML, GPG, etc. types of headers in copied text, I can see many uses. In fact I should suggest that for the next version of Text Editor Anywhere.
• If I had more time I'd go through and screw up a bunch of zip files with a hex editor, then try to get the various different zip-fixing tools out there to repair it, including Zip2Fix.
• I've been using PhiBar and Color Calculator to come up with attractive color palates, but its nice to see Color Calculator. (edit: this isn't a palate tool, see below)

Edit:

• Clipboard Rules writes settings locally, looks portable. Unfortunately it responds only to very specific text bits, not just headers.
• 5FSize looks really useful for admins/testers trying to track down areas where the drive is writing information or is taking up too much space. We already have a lot of tools that do basically this, but this might speed things up a bit by only checking areas that are most likely to be misbehaving. I would love to see future versions of this with a fourth collumn showing changes in size between checks. Doesn't save any settings to the drive so you can't have it pre-set to check specific directories. You have to recheck the ones you want or just choose "select all".
• Color Calculator its just a color picker and converter -- I misinterpreted that. However, it also saves no settings to the drive -- I believe its stealth but I didn't run a careful test.

I really wish they would move away from the old fashioned blog reel, it's just so hard to navigate through their database, I would say opting for the static page(s) approach is tried and tested, it works! The blog should be used for posting updates and/or daily tech news.
