GHacks posted an article about how Chrome is blocking all of PortableApps. Yet another in a long series of efforts to explain how false-positives work.
As the PortableApps itself distributes a version of Chrome, I can't imagine this is anything but temporary.

We have implemented a change that appears to be allowing downloads via Google Chrome despite the false positive in Google Safe Browsing due to a false positive on a single file. Apologies for the inconvenience. And please let us know in the thread if you notice any ongoing issues.

I know you were responding to the community more broadly, but just to be clear there was no issue on my side. Just thought it was interesting.
