BBCeditor is a simple editor for BBcode which allows you to easily create a collection of posts for various forum boards. The biggest advantage of this editor is that you can always write some nice responses when your Internet connection is down and post them later into your favourite board. You can keep your writing history in this way.

Under Tools>Settings>Appearance there are three options for the "Automatic preview": Do not refresh (only F5 refreshes), Refresh when text changes and Refresh each: .. seconds.
Was writing up a post that required some complex formatting, so I pulled up this program to try and make it easier to work with. While a good introduction to various BBcode options, it's incomplete: the preview function looks nothing like what happens here on the site and there's no undo function.
Will go back and try a similar program mentioned by Baas last year: WYSIWYG BBCode Editor.
Nowadays most Forums/Sites have a good set of BBCode editing tools inbuilt into the simple editor. Maybe there was a need for this 2 years ago, but not now.

I've been a user of R2 Startup Delayer since before its DotNET days, but unfortunately it is neither portable (never was) nor is it completely free anymore.
System integration might be understandable in utilities whose express purpose is to interact with the Windows registry; nonetheless, here's a free (and 'portable') alternative...
32 bit only, requires .NET Framework 2.0/3.5 (which one is it, I don't know); writes to 'HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run'.
Apparently VueSoft VueMinder Lite USB fits nicely here, as its homepage states a requirement of DotNET v4.0 -- I haven't tested it, but here's the details...

... but some of the features I really need in a calendar and task management program are only available in the Pro version, which is USD $50. Given that Outlook is MUCH more than that, I understand why they're charging that much but it still stings.
