https://burnnote.com/Burn Note enables you to communicate online as privately as a spoken conversation.
Each Burn Note can be viewed only once and then it is deleted. Deleted Burn Notes are completely erased from the Burn Note servers so it impossible for anyone to retrieve them.

Re: Self-destructive eMail messages
Yeah, right. Giving a message to a 3rd party is super-private. And all you have for security is their words.
Worthless.
This:

is more like it, though it's just a research project ATM.

Re: Self-destructive eMail messages
The only thing that would be secure is a peer to peer encrypted messaging session using a self made encryption.

@ I am Baas
Burn note is a very cool concept.
Though I would prefer something more private than a spoken conversation.
Though there are machines, the descendants of lie detectors and MRI machines that might one day render the phrase "as private as your own thoughts" meaningless.

Basically your computer renders any mode of communication potentially compromised from the start. Next the internet, followed by any servers, and any recipients computer, finally the recipient render any mode of communication almost definitely compromised from the start.
Think Key-loggers, including those with Screen-shooters (like Boxsoft Screen OCR but with bad intent), or anyone able to receive the signal given off by a monitor, any remote access method (including using the ac power connection (80s spy catching tech)), bad habits of the recipient etc.
