TextWorx - text tweaker

#1 Post by webfork »

It's hard to summarize everything this program does but a few things are: insert various date formats, change case to various different formats, paste as text, delete duplicate lines, HTML tags and a lot more.
There are many text editors out there, and not all of them have the text-manipulation functions that you always want or need. TextWorx is designed to give you a slew of text-manipulation functions at your disposal for whatever text editor you wish to work with. It has a universal context menu and custom toolbar/s that you open with a hotkey. First select your text, then call the menu, then the function that you wish to run against that text.
Status: Portable. Writes to local folder as TextWorx.ini

Nice find, thank you.

I could be wrong but I believe the author of TextWorx is deceased making Version 1.4, May 2019, the final version. Still quite useful and polished tool.

Wow, just wow.

A religious leader who also appears to enjoy coding very much, as can be seen from his conversation with the others at the forum. He has dedicated _years_ of effort to polishing this program, which you can always tell by how much work went into the documentation. I am so touched. A man can devote his soul to God, but he has more to give in other areas. May he rest in peace.

I will add this to the database soon, if one of you don't beat me to it first.

Sorry to hear about the authors death. Really useful little program. A fine legacy.
