SolveSpace - CAD freeware (now OpenSource)

Submit portable freeware that you find here. It helps if you include information like description, extraction instruction, Unicode support, whether it writes to the registry, and so on.

SuperDuper!

Downloaded and within 2 mins I had created something. An astounding feat considering I am not a CAD user. Only thing I could not figure out was how to delete a selection. Which, I suppose, would not be a problem if I went from start to finish and do not make a mistake =P

Still one of the best 2d/3d cad for fast mechanical drawing, I use it every day when, ahem, sketching robotic part at work. A bit like a sketchbook before going to more complex program like Autocad.

Nice find! Ever since I bought a 3D printer, I have been slowly getting myself familiar with CAD software.

I started off with OpenSCAD, but quickly moved on to FreeCAD. Another CAD software (SolveSpace looks really lean an mean, only 7MB!) in the arsenal is always a good thing.

I googled around and found this article about FreeCAD vs SolveSpace to be quite useful:
