Very old thread update:

So there is a Portable Vuze (formerly Azureus) now. Its not free and was created from an also non-free Thinstall-like program called Ceedo discussed here on the forums quite a while ago.

Last time I tried Azureus it was so bloated that I couldn't care less about its performance...
