I came across this -

And I don't know C++ or C!

@guinness
That Klui's version supports AutoIt
I believe the recent mod from portableapps has syntax highlighting for both AutoIt and AHk.
it's the same version i mentioned above:
Notepad2 with code folding, bookmarks and more (updated)
the problem is it's unable to use my Pinned Taskbar Icon.
Plus... the reason i like Kliu's Notepad2, is it's light and fast and a great Notepad replacement with no difference in performance at all.
If you use PortableApps version, it's slow, and not meant to be a Notepad replacement but more of a portable app.
-----------
According to Kliu, it's not C++ or C, he used NSIS.
also.. i saw that.. but it doesn't support ASCII Art/NFO/Diz
-----------
I submitted a report:
http://code.google.com/p/notepad2-mod/i ... ity-Medium
please help me support it if you would like to see the Taskbar Icon fixed

Correct. The PortableApps.com Notepad2-mod Portable is the
Google Code-hosted one as it seems to incorporate most of the most-asked for features and is actively maintained (last updated on March 5th, which is the version we repackage and add recent path portablization and place in PA.c Format).
I'd wager it will get the updates to the base Notepad2 version when it comes out.

New Mod version available and I'm really considering on replacing this with the official Notepad2.

If you're considering on moving to Notepad++ because Notepad2 lacks certain features, then I would consider those to check out Notepad2-mod because it's lightweight with a host of new syntax highlighting features as well as code folding.
So if no one has any objections I'll add this to the
Notepad2 entry as an alternative too.

While Notepad2-mod is still under development, changes (at least according to Softpedia) appear fairly minor:

Still, as
guinness pointed out, it's got some nice extras over standard notepad while still maintaining it's speed and small size.

For Notepad2 fans, Notepad2-zufuliu seems to be actively developed
