Amp WinOff - sleep/shutdown manager

#1 Post by TP109 »

AMP WinOFF is an utility for scheduling the shutdown of Windows computers, with several shutdown conditions and fully configurable. Some of its features are:

Several modes/conditions for shutdown planification (sic):
At certain date/time (e.g. 12:00 AM).
After a period of time (e.g. 1 hour and 15 minutes).
When there isn't user activity (i.e. no mouse/keyboard input).
When there isn't CPU activity.
When there isn't network activity.

I've used this app for years. It's been around forever. I can't believe this wasn't brought up before (I did a search and didn't find anything in the database or the forums). Anyway, I didn't test it for true portability. Maybe someone here wants to do that.

When I tested this (a while back) it saved the settings into the registry. Would be nice to see a native portable version, as this is a very nice app.

Edit: tested version 5.0.1 (zip file) and the result is the same.

Thank you Joby for checking it out. Pity that it's not truly portable.

It would make a nice addition. A yaP launcher config is available.

Downloaded and installed this yaP launcher too. Also works great. I downloaded several more for other apps that I have. Good work.

I retested this again and even though it hasn't been updated since 2010, this program is still awesome. Tested on Win7x32.
