My question is what makes ZiePod not portable in your mind?
Or what is your reason to dislike this application if any?
ZiePod is it portable?
Re: ZiePod is it portable?
Have you tested it portable ??
BTW: I didn't know about this software before now.

Re: ZiePod is it portable?
In my test (a while back) it was portable but not stealth. It saved some settings (window position) to
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Ziepod].
But why would you assume I dislike this app? Just because I didn't vote for it?
I don't dislike the app itself, just the lack of development.

Perhaps the wording was misleading or incorrect.joby_toss wrote:But why would you assume I dislike this app? Just because I didn't vote for it?

I used the Qualifier "if any" thought that would elicit a response from any who do dislike the app.
With specific complaints we could contact the developer and hope for a fix.
Re: ZiePod is it portable?
I have no complaints, I just use gPodder when I need such an app (rarely).
It's not private anymore.

I hadn't tested it because:donald wrote:With specific complaints we could contact the developer and hope for a fix.
* Don't have a need for a podcast / RSS tool
* Its reliance on installed codecs (I don't see that as portable)
* Closed license
While I regularly test closed software that I don't really need, the combination of these elements has pulled it off my radar.
Also, as Baas asked in the comments, I'd also like to know:
* Stealth status?
* Is ZiepodOneClicker.dll required?
* What about ZiepodUninstaller.exe?

joby_toss updated the entry re. "Stealth" but the "How to extract" info is incomplete.webfork wrote:I'd also like to know:
