Re: Send multiple email attachments via the context menu

I spent some time digging for something like this and felt sure I could find some tweak or plugin for Thunderbird on this (like this http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 9&t=591009), but so far no sale.

Thanks for investigating, Webfork :)

As a matter of fact, going through the thread you linked me to, I had the chance to read a thing (in the last post) that I didn't know: It is never a bad idea to do a favor for a good cook (whatever that means)

Tested Eudora OSE 1.0 configured as default MC: no problems whatsoever to attach files to single mail via ST -> Mail Recipient.
Re-install could solve the problem (backup mail's folder prior!).
-
I can make you a "middle man" - app that passes file(s) to 'eudora.exe'. I'm using the "middle man" method successfully in my Thunderbird launcher.

Thanks 3K3 :)

That sounds really interesting and I would really like to test your "middle man".

Please keep in mind the following:

- Since not all users have the same configuration (Eudora path) I will need to customize the Eudora.exe path in your "middle man" tool;

- The file(s) that is(are) to be attached to the mail message should be:

- First copied (o moved, if so configured) to a specific (user-configurable) "Attachment" folder

and then

- Get attached to the mail from that location where they have been copied or moved to.

If you think that your "middle man" would be able to do what I described above I would be very very grateful to you

You won't try to repair Eudora's install(s)? :o

As explained earlier on, the described scenario is not happening on my computer but on somebody else's computer, so when I will connect (via remote assistance) with that user I would like to do all necessary things together (including testing your "middle man" tool, if you can kindly confirm that it can do what I asked in my previous post).

Please also note that I am pretty sure that the installation of Eudora is correct and that it is seen on the system(s) as the default mail client, but to be 100% sure I will check that again (as soon as you answer my question and eventually provide me with a download link for the "mm" tool).

Thanks once more
