Synopsis: A tree-based editor that supports a long list of features including markdown, scripting, versioning, themes, security, etc. I've been frustrated by electron-based tools that have some minor function while taking up a huge amount of system resources, but I can see this program checking off quite a few boxes that make it worth the extra weight.
The program looks to have good documentation, but some of the functions (for example the daily notes function) could really use an intro video to help familiarize with their thinking.
Steps: Download, extract, and launch portable-trilium.bat
Status: Not portable, Writes to the local folder \trilium-data (good) but also writes a lot of information to \AppData\Roaming\Trilium (bad) ... tested v0.43.3
Resources: 270 megs RAM, 230 megs disk space (Electron)
