Hmmm... this might be really good to use in presentations to get folks to pay attention to specific areas at a given time. To date I've been using ZoomIt with mixed results.

Edit: no, this just makes the entire screen a slightly different color.

Edit 2: So I'm not sure I totally understand why this is necessary but the author has some suggestions:

* Modify your mood
* Reduce screen glare
* Energy savings (note that this doesn't really work unless you have an LED that actually turns off, usually called AMOLED)

Note
Since version 3.0 the program no longer uses INI file (colorveil.ini) to save settings but SETTINGS file (ColorVeil.settings) so settings saved with version 2.0 would be lost.
