Passing my crown over.

#1 Post by guinness »

I am closely monitoring webfork's post count and I don't think I can come up with new TPFC content to stay ahead of the game. So I will gracefully* pass over my title of being the first to reach the 2000th and 3000th mark and let them take the lead this time.

Unless people want to send me posts that I can then submit on their behalf?!

*kicking and screaming.

IMO, you shouldn't actively try to reach 4000 posts or any post count milestone. Post count doesn't mean anything in itself.

I was close to reach 1000 posts before my posting rate slowed down. I'm sure I'll eventually reach 1000, but I don't actively target that. I simply post when I have something to say. :)

This is why I don't believe it's a "goal"* I will reach anytime soon, because my interest in portable freeware has dipped dramatically in the last 12 months.

* It's not on my todo list!

Agreed. It's entirely possible you'll hit it before me.

Oh yeah I can totally do that. I've been doing batch posts for a while now so you can definitely post some for me :)

Well it seems this is a hat trick (2000th, 3000th and 4000th) and sadly the last of my milestones on TPFC. Hopefully the posts I have provided these last few weeks have been insightful and guess it's time to take a step back for a while.

4000th post.

Not going to stick around for a binary anniversary? 4096?

Anyway, sorry to hear that. It's been great having you and very happy to have you back if other projects don't grab you.

I totally forgot about that, now I have to take back my celebration, sigh!

I will still be around, but haven't got time for finding new applications and testing. Oh, and I will be uploading something for the C# enthusiasts soonish. Though don't get all too excited, it's not some new debugger!
