A picture tells a 1000 words so here's a video to tell a million!

Been seeing a lot of "USB 3.0" devices of recent and saw a makeusof article that filled in some blanks on what's changed:

http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/usb-30-tec ... explained/

I was disappointed there weren't more benefits that Firewire offered, but one nice bit:
USB 3.0 introduces full duplex data transfer. Two of five lanes are reserved for transmitting data, while another pair is dedicated to receiving data, meaning that USB 3.0 can read and write data simultaneously at full speed.
I can see this really paying off when (for whatever reason) having to use an external device as your main hard drive.

Is that picture from Amazon?

Well, I wasn't saying they don't exist, just that none of the shops nearby seem to be selling them. From past experience, I would like to be able to simply RMA any underperforming unit...

Do you happen to have any trustworthy review pointers for those?

Thanks for that, Checker. Never mind the language barrier, Google is my friend. ;)

But Germany, that's like another planet, even if we're both part of the EU (e.g., I was able to locate one of the best rated hubs from the Idealo.de listing, the Logilink Mini 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub at http://www.ebay.es/itm/400582106429; the catch? Only sold to Germany and Austria...).
