Tested: Portable
But this is the Shareware version still as it asks me to enter a code at the start of each execution.

I looked into this recently: the portable version is listed as shareware, the regular program is freeware: http://www.softpedia.com/dyn-search.php ... df&x=0&y=0 ... this was verified by the website translation: “Download to yourselves still today 7-PDF Maker Portable and test this functionally unlimited shareware version extensively on your USB-Stick.” (source)

I guess portability is a registration-worthy feature?

Also, its sister program "Split and Merge Portable" is listed as freeware http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-S ... able.shtml so that might be valuable.

Update: crap -- the author already explained this here on the forums.

What functions are necessary to let it free, and what is usefull if you register it and purchase a license for currently 19.95 € / $27.58 ...

There are the following functions:
1. PDF creation for 84 file-formats (my opinion should be free)
2. auto. Hyperlink Creation (my opinion: registered user only)
3. Image Optimizer Functions (my opinion: registered user only)
4. PDF /A-1, Tagged PDF, Export Notes (my opinion: registered user only)
5. PDF Security Options (my opinion: registered user only)

...so only a simple portable pdf creation is then free - all other function = registered user.

Late to the party as always, but here are my 2 ¢: without hyperlinks and PDF/A (the only true PDF standard), a program with over a 100 MB would have little to no interest whatsoever, portable or not...
