Undelete Plus
Undelete Plus
I'd really like to have undelete plus with the clean hard drive features. Eraser just takes forever and crashes and I am not so sold on other alternatives. Anyone with a copy of Undelete plus between versions 2.8 and 2.8.2 please message me

Well, it seems that v2.8x has dropped off the planet. The other night I thought, "How hard must it be to find it for Tertius? I'll find it quick, and post a link."
At about Midnight, the quest began to feel like some of my old programming projects. I was at one with archive.org! At any moment, the Great Internet would reluctantly yield the object of my search!
Oh, I knew there were other programs that would do the same thing. But, this was personal! I had to find it! I Googled. I Yahooed, I DogPiled! I, I, even... Binged!
By 2:00 AM, I was prowling through (Sandboxed) archived web sites with bad spelling and advertising for various "enhancement" products. I believe that I even picked up a faint hint of Sulfur now and then.
Alas, I had to admit defeat. At 3:00 AM, I quit.
I was able to find versions 2.7.0, 2.7.1, 2.9.0, 2.9.1, 2.9.3, 2.9.8, and the current version, 3.0.2.209. But, no 2.8x!
Tertius, I tried. I'm sorry that I failed.
Now, where did I lay my garlic necklace? AVG up to date? Check! MalwareBytes? Check! Sandboxie? Check!

You are really funny! I got a good laugh out of all of it. Thanks a lot for everything. I'll give the links a try. Stone Tablet's 2.9.3 seems to be working good though. Glad to hear from you and Stone Tablet. Will definitely remember this.
OT: I am totally there with you on the programming projects. Hours just keep piling up.

Hello everyone,
I have a copy of v2.8 from when it was released on the program's website originally. I've just uploaded it to a file host and have posted a link to it in the comments of the Undelete Plus program entry. Great story usdcs

Thanks & Welcome to TPFC!
Thanks & Welcome to TPFC!
Re: Undelete Plus
Thank you for the welcome I am Baas I've actually been lurking around the site for a fair while, I would have stumbled across the site probably not long after Andrew originally created it. I think it was the CD ISO's of portable freeware programs that TPFC released in the early days that first attracted my interest. Ah the memories of the old days! I've only ever really checked out the new releases or occasionally posted in the comments for various programs up until now though. It was usdcs's suggestion that I 'come in and join the party' in the Undelete Plus comments that finally made me create an account!
