I remember a while back we discussed about the User Javascript folder path. This one works for me now:

Tested with Youtube enhancer.

hey, this script could replace firefox+videodownloadhelper for me! thanks joby! :D

btw, i think "profile\userjs\" was the format that always worked

update : damn... no, videodownloadhelper is better

update 2: yousabletubefix is also good. take a look http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/36453

update 3: does anyone know of a script that can download an embedded mp3 that plays through a flash player?

I can confirm this works as well!
Someone from Opera must be reading this forum ;)

If they are, we (and by "we", I mean me!) need widgets to be portable again.

The icon creator widget (http://widgets.opera.com/widget/17371/) was pretty sweet. The functionality is limited and it feels very early-phase but still created some pretty cool icons. Wish it was a standalone program.

WOW! It finally does work, I didn't believe it until I tried. I remember the discussion that we all had about resolving the issue of Opera finding the Javascript folder [*]

V10.70.3452 is available as snapshot!

I read a great post on Rarst.net, in which Opera has a native flash (plugin) blocker. There is a setting in opera:config called On Demand Plugin, which when activated will not download any (for example) Flash content unless a user actively clicks on the large play arrow.

There is also a write up of how to add buttons to toggle the On Demand Plugin on/off - http://my.opera.com/dude09/blog/on-demand-plugin-opera-turbo

Note: Blocking is not limited to Flash. Anything plugin-powered is blocked – very comprehensive. - Rarst

videodownloadhelper gives me the option to download it, but none of opera's scripts for downloading from youtube-and-similar sites work...

when i extract the classic installer using the info provided on the pfc's opera page, there is a file named encoding.bin.cel in the main opera folder. i think this file should be renamed to encoding.bin
[my opera couldn't apply the encoding i chose until i make the change to encoding.bin]

anyone else had this problem? if so, maybe we should add it as a tip in the "how to extract" section

I have both files in my Opera folder. :)
I didn't rename or modify any. Don't know how they appeared.
They are identical (same md5).
Code:
encoding.bin
and
encoding.bin.cel

i had both of them too in another folder of mine
but in the new one i tested, there was only the encoding.bin.cel one
