At least once every few months I find a program that I don't specifically have a use for but have to acknowledge is a really amazing program. MyTourBook is one such program that pulls together a ton of ordinary data from photos, heart rate monitors, and then coordinates with online maps and elevation details to visualize a journey. It's a super cool idea.

There's a chance it might be portable or be made for portability, but I don't think there's a strong use case for portable users (apart from security/privacy if you're a VeraCrypt user). Users of this program are more likely to install it.

- Yes, it is. So here was I, wondering how to go about mapping my last holidays -- now, I'll be sure to give it a spin...
EDIT: just did look at it. Alas, it's Java dependent and mostly aimed at GPS device logs, it seems. Useful, sure, but not what I'm looking for.
