AMR Player

#1 Post by joby_toss »

"AMR Player is one freeware to let you can play the AMR audio files on your PC, and support to convert common multimedia file formats ( such as MP3 or WAV) to audio AMR/AWB format, or output AMR audio files to MP3/WAV audio format."

Use UniversalExtractor on this one; no traces left behind ...

I know that there are many media players that can do this but some .amr files are so difficult to play (even with VLC, KMPlayer, GOM Player) and i kind of dislike Quick Time player; but this little software played them all for me ...

I've just noticed that this player violates in some way the FFmpeg's license.
So I have to reconsider this submission.

Is this the one?
http://legroom.net/software/uniextract
I've downloaded the portable version of UniExtract ...
UniExtract Binary Archive (4.95 MB) - This archive contains the binaries. Download this if you want portable version or just prefer not to use the installer.

And tried to extract AMR Player

However, it takes like forever to scanning the file to determine filetype.

Anyone here face the same problem?
Is there any alternative for AMR player (especially the portable one)?

Thanks in advance :)

Welcome to TPFC.

To resolve this issue, you need to update the inno setup unpacker (it's in the Universal Extractor's 'bin' folder). While you are at it, see Keeping UniExtract up to date thread for more.
