| How to extract: |
Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch Speccy.exe. Make sure the "Save all settings to INI file" in Options is selected. Note: The ZIP package contains both 32 & 64 bit programs; hence the (uncompressed) file size. |

firewall popped up a message saying speccy was trying to access the internet...what's it doing?
I get that too, earlier versions of Recuva did the same thing. I think it's checking for updates, eventually that can be turned off via the options.
Nice, small program to check specs. Useful when you know absolutely nothing about the system you're working on, and just for occassional system temp checks.
