Hmmm, the first activities by the new main project developer were very promising. But by now, his last activity on sourceforge has been one year ago, as well as the last activity of the origin developer Robert Jan van der Waals. No goodby or something like this. I was one of the many people begging for Songbird Portable back when it was just a "hatchling". I believe it took 1-2 years before an official portable version was made -- by that time Foobar2000 became my inseparable best mate. Sure Songbird is the new kid on the block and Speed, memory and no itunes support will probably be it's Achilles heal, but it has a lot of potential through add-ons and it's web support.

This should be removed from the database. Neither the website, nor the link via do work, so there's no way to download. I guess the project is plain dead.

Craunch on 2015-06-21 13:18

The mirror link to still works

Craunch on 2015-06-21 13:30

Oops! I spoke too soon - sorry.

Following the mirror site link from appears to start a download, but it stops after 125.5Kb has downloaded.

Following the link I gave above leads to a website in a Cyrillic language which I cannot read. If anyone can read it, it might explain what has happened.
