Hello and thank you for your feedback.
- not available
The download server was offline for serveral time. The server is again online since yesterday.
I'm sorry for that.

- the green ticks
The green ticks are only an indicator. They do not have any function right now.
If you can not save a profile, in general this means something isn't set or the source directory is identical to the destination directory.

These settings are at least mandatory to get a working profile:
- Profile type Express
- Source and destination directory set
- The profile name

If you still have the green ticks, please open the updater (menu ? or F1) and download the updated version.
There are also some litte less important tweaks in the new version which is coming this evening (german time UTC+1 ~8 PM).
The ticks have been removed for the moment because they are not working correctly.

I am really sorry for this problems. I'll do my best to get all this working. For the moment the version coming this evening works fine.
I'll investigate the timestamp problem too before releasing the update this evening.

All feedback is welcome and I'll always read everything to make you a good piece of software =)

How does the PathSync compare the files? Are their hashes/content compared? What happens when Ignore files size/dates are on? Cheers.

My only issue with this program is for some reason now it keeps making these "PSYN_TMP" files for most of the files I'm syncing, effectively doubling the size of the folder. Also some of the original files seem to be corrupted afterwards. Any idea why it's doing this & how to stop it?

The developer changes the name of the program frequently- FolderSynch, Folder Sync, FolderSync, FolderSync Wpf, which is visible even in the screen-shot above. The update check on program's start cannot be disabled, which is very annoying for me. The new, so called Wpf versions look worse than the last non-Wpf version (FolderSynch 1.0.0 Build 110). In the latest release there is also a non-working 'Register' button- it seems the developer is preparing a commercial version (some of his program already require a license to unlock features or to remove advertisements or nag screens). In short- in my opinion Folder Sync is not changing for the better.

smaragdus: this is really something we should get into in the forums.

Folder Syncv1.0.0 build 208 is crashing in Win7Pro32. I use Folder Syncv1.0.0 build 110, and have Folder Syncv1.0.0 build 205, too; neither of these two crashes.

Zback copies Folder Properties, which most backup software does not, according to numerous tools I've tested. For that reason alone I can forgive the rather clunky UI. Love it :)
