For each password entry, the following information is displayed: Record Index, Web Site, User Name, Password, User Name Field, Password Field and the Signons filename.

If a "master" password has been set, this must be entered before information can be viewed.

A 64-bit version is available (for use with Firefox 64-bit and Waterfox).

This has been flagged as malware by AVG and other programs.

AdrianK_IT on 2012-05-05 13:30

This is one of the NirSoft utilities, and trustworthy. It is flagged as malware as it clearly can be used for malicious reasons ie extract passwords for nefarious purposes. However, it can also be used for good reasons ie extract passwords for recovery purposes etc!
I have learnt to temporarily disable 'real time protection' in AV software when downloading/moving/using these utilities.
I also use them as a simple test of AV software effectiveness; if it doesn't pick up these utilities as potentially malicious, then the AV software is clearly useless!

In Firefox, use CTRL-J to display this information!

It's faster (and easier on resources) than starting FF and hitting Ctrl+J (for example when you're working with a different browser).

ImageCacheViewer v1.31 Updated

Andrew Lee on 7 Mar 2024
  • 103KB (uncompressed)
  • Released on 3 Mar 2024
  • Suggested by Checker

ImageCacheViewer scans the cache of your Web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Pale Moon, SeaMonkey, Google Chrome, Chromium, Opera, Vivaldi and Yandex) and lists the images displayed in the recently visited Web sites. For every cached image file, program displays the URL of the image, browser used, image type, image and browsing date/time and file size. Selecting an image from this list shows the image in the lowe rpane and you can copy the image to the clipboard (Ctrl+M) for pasting elsewhere.

The program is useful for getting around some image protection schemes, web development testing and tracking down a specific image when you're not sure of its associated website.

Note: The author recommends closing all windows of your Web browser before using to ensure that all files are saved to the disk. Additionally, the program won't work if the browser is configured to clear its cache on closing (for privacy or space reasons).

I've got jPortable working with X-LibreOffice as well. :)

E:\X-LibreOffice\Lib>dir /a
Volume in drive E is OHJELMAT
Volume Serial Number is A4D5-8D47

Directory of E:\X-LibreOffice\Lib

02.03.2011 20:19 <DIR> .
02.03.2011 20:19 <DIR> ..
30.01.2011 10:36 <DIR> 7za
02.03.2011 20:19 <JUNCTION> Java [E:\CommonFiles\Java]
0 File(s) 0 bytes
4 Dir(s) 12 645 406 208 bytes free

The trick is that E:\X-LibreOffice\Lib\Java is a junction that points to E:\CommonFiles\Java. This way the content of E:\CommonFiles\Java shows up in E:\X-LibreOffice\Lib\Java.

REVerdi on 2020-03-09 21:17

CommonFiles\Java64 don't need to be at the root of the app folder.

For example, I adopted the following folder structure:

D:\Apps\Java\CommonFiles\Java64\...
D:\Apps\Java\JavaPortableLauncher64\... (not necessary, but it works)
D:\Apps\IRPF\IRPF2020\... (the application that requires java)

And in "D:\Apps\IRPF\IRPF2020\" I created the following bat:

@echo off
start D:\Apps\Java\CommonFiles\Java64\bin\javaw.exe -jar D:\Apps\IRPF\IRPF2020\irpf.jar

For me, it worked perfectly!

Tiny file size and very-functional download manager.

Great to use for servers that limit download speeds to a low KB/s.

My only tiny nitpick is probably to change the default download parts from 1 to 2 or maybe 4. Other than that, thumbs up!

BleachBit seems to leave traces in the last version (3.2) - after first run I found the folder ".dbus-keyrings" in the root of C:\USERS\user\
Would be interesting to put this folder to the user defined cleaners - Bleachbit then would clean up itsself...

Bleachbit portable downloaded using the link (from the home page) does not contain the msvcr100.dll file - without it the program cannot be run.
The author describes a bug "msvcr100.dll was not found", but for the installation, not for the portable version (https://www.bleachbit.org/news/bleachbit-460#known_issues).
Older versions located on SourceForge contain this file - you can copy it from there.

I needed to connect to an onion site and downloaded the latest version (5.0.2) but Australis makes Tor Browser absolutely terrible and unusable- I do not want to install heaps of add-ons just to restore features the Mozilla idiots removed. I had an earlier version of Tor Browser (3.6.0- before the advent of the abominable Australis) but the perpetual blinking of the Tor button urging for update is unbearable and cannot be disabled. It can be removed from the tool-bar but this way one cannot acquire new identities.

Goanna engine version is 100% PWA able, but you need to save "link" manually (no "install to desktop" support).

It is a 51.4mb minimal install to USB drive vs Palemoon's 73.5mb.

Opera@USB is lighter at 18.1mb, but can no longer load youtube, and can not handle PWA apps

aazard on 2020-11-15 17:06

Correction & Note:

TL;DR: K-Melon Goanna engine is the LIGHTEST PWA ABLE WEBBROWSER @ 51mb on USB ready to use

CORRECTION:

K-Melon Goanna engine UPX'ed single language & default skin only = 51mb (53,566,636 bytes), making it the lightest PWA app able web browser avaible as of 2020-11-15

NOTE:

Gecko engine & Presto engine webbrowsers no longer load youtube, not will D-plus (dillo for windows) QtWeb or Netsuft (very sad)

K-melon (goanna version), then palemoon (current to "many" firefox extensions) & last, seamonkey (heaviest light but current to "almost all" firefox extensions) are lightest non-trident (IE11+, like Avante browser) that load Youtube & web sites with HTTP5; 100% CORRECTLY

Mozbackup no longer backups the address book in Thunderbird, the option is grayed out.

I would love a newer version to fix this issue, but it looks like this is abandonware now.

More from my last post,
Just tried on another machine, and it is still working, even with option gray out.
So the first machine could have a corrupted setup.
So I will keep an eye on it, from now on.

and a quick FYI about the comment on not having to pay for CSS editing, the "free one' in the program seems to be somewhat of a bad joke. It is a beat-around-the bush feature that lets you do something you wouldnt expect it to, and other features are just plain missing.. they may be there buried somewhere, but to a user who just installed it and is testing it out, it isn't very convincing, I did manage to find some of the features after an hour, and you shouldn't have to go into code to correct something that the editor did wrong. The spell checker seems like instead of correcting words it replaces the word and leaves the misspelled word right next to it. Like I said, maybe there is some option buried but to the new user of the product, it just doesn't do it. I ended up just writing my own simple WYSIWYG webpage editor in a few days and have the functionality i need... sheesh

webfork on 2013-11-05 22:13

osirisgothra: Every WYSIWYG editor I've worked with requires that I go back at some point and fix something in the code that the macro editor side broke. In my experience so far, BlueGriffon does some things better, some things worse. As to the CSS and rigidity, I agree, but the truth is that this is the direction Adobe went with Dreamweaver and I think BlueGriffin is trying to be an OSS alternative to that program rather than a normal WYSIWYG.
