Autoruns v13.98

  • Released on 6 Apr 2020
  • Suggested by Andrew Lee

Autoruns shows programs that run during system bootup or login, as well as entries in the order Windows processes them. These programs include ones in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce and other Registry keys. You can configure Autoruns to show other locations, including Explorer shell extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, auto-start services and much more. Autoruns goes way beyond the MSConfig utility.

A 64-bit version is available (within the folder).

Alternatively, Autoruns Portable is stealth and will only show the EULA once.

Autoruns v13.80 released 11SEP2017

SysInternals' changelogs, scrimpy as they used to be, have disappeared altogether.

See gripes about SysInternals' site recent overhaul...:-(

I'll be damned ! Sysinternals' utilities changelogs ersatz have not quite vanished, after all,
but are definitely (deliberately?) well hidden from sight:

PS
Looks like one of TPFC's eminent updates contributor was in the know all along ...;-)

Though v. 13.93 is available here, at Portable Freeware, the MS site only has v. 13.91 . Is this version again being recalled by MS?

a2hijackfree v31016 seems to corrupt system.ini and win.ini when checking Autoruns. I was forced to scanreg /restore to get Win 98 up & running again.
