OpenedFilesView displays the list of all opened files on your system. For each opened file, the handle value, read/write/delete access, file position, the process that opened the file etc. are displayed. You can also close one or more opened files, or terminate the processes that opened these files. This is particularly handy when you are trying to delete/move/open a file and Windows complains that the file is "locked".

Mail PassView is a password recovery tool that reveals the passwords and other account details for many email clients. For each email account, the following fields are displayed: Account Name, Application, Email, Server, Server Type (POP3/IMAP/SMTP), User Name and Password.

Supported clients: Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook 2000 (POP3 and SMTP Accounts only), Microsoft Outlook 2002/2003/2007/2010/2013/2016 (POP3, IMAP, HTTP and SMTP Accounts), Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail, IncrediMail, Eudora. If not encrypted with a master password: Netscape 6.x/7.x, Mozilla Thunderbird. If settings have password saved: Group Mail Free, Yahoo! Messenger application, MSN/Windows/Live Messenger, Gmail Notifier application, Google Desktop, Google Talk.

DSynchronize lets you copy, move, or synchronize folders on your computer or over a network. The program can sync in both directions, making both folders up-to-date with the latest data, do real-time sync where any changes copied to destination and even verify it's transfers. The program can schedule operations, add timestamps to the destination folder and keep multiple backups (iterations).

If in use, the program can even eject a USB device when an operation is complete.

Warning: DSynchronize is meant for power users! By default the program does not send deleted files to the Recycle Bin, but are instead deleted outright. Use caution in initial sync tests with sensitive data.

SmartSniff is a network analysis/diagnostic tool that allows you to capture TCP/IP packets that pass through your network adapter. You can view the captured data as sequence of conversations between clients and servers in ASCII mode (for text-based protocols, like HTTP, SMTP, POP3 and FTP) or as hex dump (for non text-based protocols, like DNS).

On Win2K or above, SmartSniff is able to capture TCP/IP packets using raw sockets. This method has some limitations and problems, but it does not require any additional installation. A better way to capture TCP/IP packets is to install the open-source WinPcap capture driver, functional on Windows 98 and later.

USB Disk Ejector allows you to quickly and easily remove USB devices. It is useful when dealing with devices that refuse to eject, multiple devices, or if you don't want to see the "Now safe to remove this device" dialog. The program includes a variety of available advanced features including hotkeys, has available post-eject actions and more.

HDHacker is a utility that saves, visualizes and restores the MBR (from a physical drive), the boot sector (from a logical drive) or any sector on a disk. It can be used to save and restore a particular boot manager (e.g. LILO). It can also be used to backup the MBR or boot sector so that they can be restored later if corrupted.

FolderStyle generates hierarchical file listings with many different styles for reporting purposes. It supports a wide range of filtering options to exclude non-relevant files from the reports. It can also load and save an unlimited number of profiles for common, repetitive jobs.

This project is not currently under active development.

SoftPerfect File Recovery helps you recover accidentally deleted files from floppy disks, hard drives, USB flash drives, CF and SD cards and other storage media. It supports the popular file systems such as FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and NTFS5 with compression and encryption.

Device Info lists all the device drivers in your machine, we well as the manufacturer and version. Note that this program requires administrator rights to work correctly.

Sophos Anti-Rootkit scans running processes, Windows registry and local hard drives to find and remove any rootkit that is hidden on your computer.

Performance Pinging is a network and performance and diagnostic tool, able to ping a host individually or continuously using different data volumes. This provides an indication of the performance of the route to your host. Ping intervals can run from 2 to 30 seconds using various timeouts. Results are written to log window and log file if so chosen.

The analysis function sends various pings, 10 each of 10 bytes, 100 bytes, 500 bytes, 1 kbytes, 10 kbytes, 50 kbytes, and 64 kbytes. The round trip times are shown with the total and average times.

Note that unreachable hosts have a value of 0 ms.

Internet Explorer Cache Explorer displays the details of all cookies that Internet Explorer stores on your computer and reads all information from the history file on your computer, displays the list of all URLs that you have visited. It also allows you to clear history, delete cookies and temporary Internet files.

VirtualTreeNavigator is a database browser that presents data in a hierarchical structure. It can present any RDBMS structure as a taxonomy system using a simple and intuitive XML descriptor. It can connect to any RDBMS database (ODBC, ADO, OLEDB) and will retrieve data using plain SQL. VirtualTreeNavigator will help you to instantly visualise and understand the structure of any database. Taxonomy definition files are written in plain XML can work in source-controlled multi-person team environment. It has also a built-in XML editor.

PIM is a file compression utility that targets a new "PIM" archive format that features high performance executable and image compression. It also supports the extraction for various archive formats, including ZIP, JAR, PK3, PK4, QUAKE PAK and QUAD.

Ultimate Data Recovery allows you to recover deleted files from FAT 12/16/32 and NTFS (supports recovery of compressed and encrypted files) partitions. As with most apps of this nature, you will need administrator rights to the machine for it to work.

Roadkil's Window Message displays information about the window the mouse pointer is currently over, including the window handle, size and the owner thread information. It is useful for people writing windows applications or creating macros/scripts to control another application.

PhoCalc is a simple program for calculating DPI (dots per inch), print sizes and megapixels. The program is useful for photographers and other people who need to determine the size needed for quality prints or posters.

X-RayPC is a tool to perform a quick scan of all processes, auto-start programs, BHOs, and IE plugins on your machine. By comparing the signatures of these processes against an online database, the items are marked as Good, Bad or Undetermined. If the program finds a Bad item, you can also choose to deactivate it immediately. The program is not intended to replace your traditional anti-spyware programs, but rather to compliment them.
