WinLogOnView analyses the Windows security event log and detects the date/time that users logged on and logged off. For every log on/log off, the logon ID, user name, domain, computer, logon time, logoff time, duration, and network address are all shown.

Primarily for system administrators, the program can also give you a look at your own machine usage. WinLogOnView also allows you to easily export the logon sessions information to tab-delimited/comma-delimited/html/xml file.

Advanced Renamer is stealth but the exiftool.exe within is not, it leaves behind a 19MB folder: AppData\Local\Temp\par-username\cache-exiftool-10.04.

Even if terminated properly, the folder stays.

MyUninstaller is an alternative utility to the standard Add/Remove Software control panel applet. It displays the list of all installed application, and allows you to uninstall an application, delete an uninstall entry, and save the list of all installed applications into a text file or HTML file. It also provides additional information for most installed applications that the standard applet does not display: product name, company, version, uninstall string, installation folder etc.

I generally use Revo (http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1398) to make sure files are removed but to get multiple programs off quickly, I use FreeUninstaller (http://www.portablefreeware.com/?id=1350), which has a local and online search, use frequency, website, and other features.

SigcheckGUI is a system and security analysis tool for understanding files and processes. The program shows a variety of file data including signing source, 32/64-bit status, version, publisher, and more. Security options include VirusTotal analysis and file hashing (MD5, SHA1, and SHA256). The program can even run on all active processes.

The program can export results to spreadsheet (CSV) or copied to the clipboard.

SigcheckGUI is a front-end for Sigcheck from Sysinternals.

  • To check extensions other than EXE and DLL, select the Options tab and enter them in the "Allowed Extentions" entry

The underlying SysInternals's SIGCHECK utility (CLI) is updated to V2.5 (as of 02-FEB-2016)
with the following change :

- now reports all the signatures of images that have multiple signers
