Category:
System Requirements: Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Stealth: ? Yes
Unicode support: Yes
License: GNU GPLv2
How to extract: Download the self-extracting EXE and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch MameUI32.exe or MameUI64.exe.

Note: This is just the emulator. You need "ROMs" which are the actual games to play. You can find a few on MAME's homepage, but you'll need to search online for game ROMs. Put extracted "ROMs" in "ROMS" directory of MAME, start and play!

I have no idea why the "GUI version without installer" has the .man extension, but it's only a simple archive and can be extracted with 7zip or UniversalExtractor. So "How to extract" field is still displaying correct information.

You are right! My Opera is at fault here. My beloved Opera failed my once more...again... Maybe it's finally time to put it to rest...

webfork: Thanks for answering. It looks like the file I got from MajorGeeks is corrupted because I redownloaded and still didn't extract correctly. I searched for another host and now all the files extract as usual.
(Looks like I can't post vtotal urls here)

The Brazilian Portuguese is not the real language, because Files in Brazilian are not "ficheiros". They are called "Arquivos". =( I have to change to English, because Portuguese of Portugal is not my preference.

@rodger123: This "worse" version only leaves files in Internet Explorer's cache. IMHO, the overhead caused by PortableApps.com Launcher is not worth it.
