@loin2kolpotoru
You are right. However, both 1.2 & 1.3 versions of NotePad SX are incompatible with Windows 8 (the program's GUI doesn't display correctly).

The missing forum thread- http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=74525
The free NotePad SX home page- http://www.rf1.net/software/notepad - there is a direct download link.

Notepad SX (http://www.rf1.net/software/notepad) is freeware but it is no longer developed and does not work properly on modern OS (at least on Windows 8- even compatibility mode doesn't help).
Notepad SX Pro (http://www.rf1.net/software/notepad_pro) is commercial.

Only 20 bytes? Now that's what I call a lightweight program. ;-)

Andrew Lee on 2006-05-30 22:50

Sorry! My typo. It should be 20KB.

Dariusz Stanislawek is the king of lightweight portable (encryption)freeware! although i don't use cryptnote very often, it is of the same calibre as his other creations!
check out his page on the other products. http://members.ozemail.com.au/~nulifetv/freezip/freeware/ Stanislawek is truly a programming genius!
