HDiskDefrag defragments FAT/NTFS partitions on non-removable hard disks. You can specify to clear temporary files and browser cache before defragmentation. You can also select whether to defragment system files and various methods of placement (by name, last access, last write).

Not recommended on SSD or flash-based media.

Open Contacts is an address book program that allows you to manage and lookup contact information of individuals, departments and organizations, and to manage relationships between them. Along with predefined fields, you can add customized data fields grouped by sections, and also customized "actions" (developers and advanced users). You can also attach photos and files, and search through any data field in the database.

The program can selectively import/export from and to major PIM packages. Multi-user access is possible in a LAN environment using true client/server architecture.

Osiva is a small and fast image viewer with a drag-and-drop interface that can scale, zoom, pan, rotate, sort images quickly. It can create slideshows, animations, and dissolve effects.

DPWipe is a tiny drag-and-drop secure wipe program for files and folders. It supports normal delete (not secure), single overwrite, DoD wipe (US Department of Defense 5220.22-compliant wiping), and Gutmann's method (35-pass).

Note: Multiple wipe actions are progressively slower. All but the most security-minded users should only need single overwrite.

Windows In A Box gives access to Windows XP settings and applications ordinarily hidden from user access without a lot of digging or sub-menus. This program provides them in a simpler menu-bar format.

ReSysInfo is a simple system information viewer with 25 information modules. These include data on BIOS information, CMOS, desktop, DirectX, drives, environment, fonts, keyboard, locale, machine APM, mainboard, MCI, memory, mouse, multimedia, network, OpenGL, passwords, ports, printers, fax, processes, processor, and video. It also includes general information about Windows and a summary.

The program includes a Report Wizard that can export the information to 3 different formats: plain text, HTML and XML.

XP-Config is an easy-to-use Windows XP configuration tool, useful to set security, performance, appearance and device behavior options.

Note: The application starts in German, but you can immediately focus the "Sprache / Language" option in the window.

nPack is a Win32 PE executable file compressor. It supports all types of PE files (EXE, DLL, OCX), and compresses program code, data and resources. However, it does not provide support for decompressing PE files that have already been compressed.
