Yes! Glad to see my program submission made it to the web site. I didn't write this program but it's one that I use very often. This is one of my favorite network utilities. |

A completely useless program that gives you no information about the security threats it "detects" and no idea how to fix them. Skip this one.

My virus scanner detected a downloader (coat.dll) which I assume is part of the test suite.

Performance Pinging is a network and performance and diagnostic tool, able to ping a host individually or continuously using different data volumes. This provides an indication of the performance of the route to your host. Ping intervals can run from 2 to 30 seconds using various timeouts. Results are written to log window and log file if so chosen.
The analysis function sends various pings, 10 each of 10 bytes, 100 bytes, 500 bytes, 1 kbytes, 10 kbytes, 50 kbytes, and 64 kbytes. The round trip times are shown with the total and average times.
Note that unreachable hosts have a value of 0 ms.

Very useful tool. I'd rather us WinMtr than this but this program does something WinMtr doesn't do, which is log to a file. |
IP2 shows your machine's IP addresses on both Wide and Local Area Networks (WAN and LAN). While most tools focus on the local address, this provides the address from the perspective of an "outsider" on the Internet. This is useful in diagnostics, connectivity, and analysis.

VStat is a small GUI tool that produces similar output to the traditional command line tool netstat. In addition to showing the various states of network activity on your computer it shows the associated application name and process ID. VStat allows you to close any existing established TCP connection and will give you the ability to terminate the owning application associated with any entry, provided you have the relevant permissions to do so.

I recommend updating to the 2.0.0.0 Beta and hosting it instead, specifically If I am not misinformed this just edits a single registry key (different Reg key for each new Windows OS) and thus is just a simple 1 key Reg editor. |
Network Drive Mapper allows you to manage network drive mappings. You can add drive mappings by IP address without first connecting to them, then connect to selected or all entries easily using either the graphical user interface or command-line switches. The drive mappings are stored in a DAT file, which is encrypted to help prevent any passwords from being compromised.

How to extract: |
Download the ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch Network Drive Mapper.exe. Optionally, for a more automated process once you have set up network mappings, use the -c argument to run, connect to all saved entries, then exit. Similarly, you may use the -d startup switch to disconnect all map entries then exit. |

Angry IP Scanner is a fast IP scanner that can ping a range of IP addresses to check if they are alive, then optionally resolve hostnames, scan ports, etc. The program is useful for network administrators to monitor and manage their networks.
Note: Current versions of this program require Java. Until this is tested as portable, we are linking to the previous non-Java version.
