Console provides an enhanced console window with configurable font, color, size, background image and transparency. Console is not a shell, but simply a better-looking front-end for a shell of your choice (CMD, 4NT etc).

Great program. However, UTF-8 is not supported, only UTF-16 works
Outline is messed up when displaying directories or files with Japanese characters on my computer. Goes for v1.5 as well as 2.00b120.
I am running windows vista ultimate with windows dreamscene enaled, then I loaded v2.0b133beta, set up the transparent background, those moving vidoes are right inside my console, very cool effect. I also like the idea of it being easily resizable. Thanks for the recommendation.
The window title says V1.42, but it is actually V1.5 (EXE properties says so). There is also a development version (V2) available that is far more advanced than V1.5 eg. supports multiple tabs.
Use it since 1st available version.... the best command line ever! But - yeah, a maximize window function is a great idea...
