eXPert PDF Reader is a quick viewer for PDF files. It also provides editing capabilities for outlines, rubber stamps and annotations.

Runs on:Win98 / WinME / WinNT / Win2K / WinXP
Writes settings to: Windows registry. But given the nature of the application and the small number of options that it exposes, I am accepting it as portable.
License: Freeware
How to extract:
  1. Download the installer and install to the default folder C:\Program Files\Visagesoft\pdfreader
  2. Copy all files to a folder of your choice
  3. Finally, uninstall the program
  4. Launch vspdfreader.exe

Kermode, Of course it has to do with being portable, I wouldn't want a bunch software crudding my computers with a bunch invalid registry keys.

allen writing to the registry has nothing to do with being portable.

This application displays pdf files nicely but appears to have problems printing. I have tried printing on four separate printers at both work and home and in each case characters are dropped (missed) in the middle of many words. IF this issue can be sorted out then this app becomes a good and useful one.
