I had this soft installed at my Work PC, and do what "How to extract" and put the installed soft in my Usb Drive, and work like ever.

Im not going to use this because it requires you to download a LAME dll from a site that looks like its not free! what is this program doing on this site then?

THIS IS and STILL is my remaining CD ripper champion in the digital format glory of my collection! it works great in Windows Vista!!! Whoever updates this site, might want to add that to the Windows compatibility history =). Damn...just too bad the author of this program left it a long time ago, it sure needs a newer GUI =( but anyway, this is still the BEST THING EVER!!!!

@MozKill: Lame is free. Didn't you know that?

It modified the "cdplayer.ini" file in the Windows folder by adding the following:

[CDDB]
ProxyPortExt1=FFFF1FFF4F

Otherwise it seems to be portable.

Yet another thing. You have to enter the target folder manually, otherwise the programm uses it's preset and writes outside the Application folder.

Minus points for forced installation of Funmoods and for being unable to detect the title of my CDs.

brickablesmile: presence of adware confirmed (and entry edited), but every source I've read indicates that the user is prompted. Please post in forums if that's changed.

Glad to see Audiograbber is still around, as it was the first trustworthy CD ripper I ever used, back in the 90's... :)

It was only deprecated when I discovered bit accurate Exact Audio Copy (not portable, but there are portabilized versions floating around the Web).
