Resource Hacker 3.6 Update Released on 16 September 2011 -

Ennovy 2012-01-07 10:52

Version 3.6 tested under Windows 7. Writes settings to an .INI file in the application folder.

Midas 2012-04-22 15:23

A must have in any toolbox.

But... is it me only, or latest versions (post 3.5) crash/shoot more errors when browsing program resources?

dstrout 2012-06-28 20:30

I can't extract the Resource Hacker 3.6.0 setup file with 7-Zip - any ideas?

dstrout 2012-06-28 21:02

Figured it out. I did a full install, took the files from the install folder and put them in a new folder, then created a file in that folder named reshacker.ini. With that file in place, Resource Hacker runs portably, writing settings to it. Thanks to Ennovy for mentioning the ini file and giving me the idea to try that. If anyone else has this problem, try that.
