RekSFV is a checksum generator and verifier that can evaluate files and whole directories. When scanning, the program checks for all supported files and verifies any found checksums. The program supports drag and drop, stay-on-top, minimize to tray, shortcut keys, multiple instances, sound notification and more.

The program supports several hashing algorithms including SFV, MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512.

System Requirements: WinXP / Vista / Win7 / Win8 / Win10
Writes settings to: Application folder
Stealth: ? Yes
Unicode support: Yes
License: Free for personal use
How to extract: Download the "exe bundle" ZIP package and extract to a folder of your choice. Launch RekSFV.exe.

Optionally, delete unnecessary language files.
Similar/alternative apps: MultiHasher, RapidCRC Unicode
What's new? Added:
  • New time (s) column for summary tab.
  • Scrollboxes are handling mousewheel events now, too.
  • Information loss on Russian language file.
  • BrowseForFolder dialog was locked within users directory somehow.
  • Some changes were necessary for WinXP users (font issues).
  • Sha-type was added with sfv-extension, too: so there was wrong output.
You can't add additional extensions to checksum types if this they already used for other types to avoid irritations (see issue above).
  • OK-folder creation used bytes instead of mbytes.
