A must-have software for Windows, a definite must-have

amazing clipboard manager :-)

hamasaki 2013-09-29 12:39

Not as good as Arsclip, which for me, remains the best clipboard manager by miles.

Clipjump is ok though.

apph 2013-09-29 13:28

then I can bet you have not explored how much can clipjump do. I have used many including arsclip in the past and though it's good there are many new power features in clipjump i like.

hamasaki 2013-10-03 18:20

Thats fine. I have tried Clipjump, but I just don`t find it as intuitive or user friendly as Arsclip.

Installation instructions are outdated. The download is now clipjumpsetup.exe, a self-extracting archive. Click and select the destination folder.

Thanks @IanFromBarrie . updated here and will update with the next version in the help file.

IanFromBarrie 2014-01-02 14:42

Now the download is a zip file. Just open and copy contents as before

Yes, I realized was the most "safest" way to distribute... and with the current sourceforge link I can switch filenames keeping the link constant.

ext5 2014-01-08 19:26

I get the following error:

Error at line 3989.
Line Text: ^c::history_clipboard()
Error: Invalid hotkey.

The program will exit.

avi-aryan 2014-01-09 04:02

@ext5 Sorry for that. Another user also told me about this problem and a quick fix is > . Sorry for the trouble, it would have been a super frustation starting a new app and seeing the error first up.
I will release a quick update trying to fix that problem but no guarantees because I can't test it.
I will also add a Troubleshooting page in the help file.

avi-aryan 2014-01-09 07:12

@ext5 - Do you have a Russian system ?

avi-aryan 2014-01-09 13:13

@ext5 - Try now. Russian keyboard layout has different characters than English and so you see those errors. I read some topics covering the issue and now you are atleast not going to see that error again.

ext5 2014-01-09 17:45

Now all works fine!!!

avi-aryan 2014-01-10 07:24

@ext5 You may still face an error if you use Action mode. That code was in a different file and so I missed updating it. Fixed it now in v10.6.3

fullbug 2014-05-06 23:51

Better then ClipX? Thats what I need to know....

Midas 2014-05-07 21:14

@avi-aryan, regarding post at

I tested the version you pointed me to, after copying my previous version 'cache' folder and 'settings.ini' and 'ClipjumpCustom.ini' to the equivalent locations. Pasting with CTRL+V failed with an error "The preview/path cannot be loaded" -- the same error I got while using WIN+V (as instructed in, and while trying to copy new content to clipboard. Insta-paste directly from Clipboard History worked alright.

avi-aryan 2014-05-08 03:39

@Midas Maybe 2 copies of Clipjump are running. The old Clipjump.exe and the new Clipjump_x64.exe ?? If Clipjump_x64.exe still doesn't work, can you test the Clipjump.exe (the 32 bit) of the same folder that was provided with the download.

avi-aryan 2014-05-10 04:02

@Midas Thanks for reporting. I am not providing 64-bit exe in the final release.

Midas 2014-05-10 10:24

@avi-aryan: didn't have time to test the 32 bit version, but I'm using the latest stable (v11) on Windows 7 Pro SP1 64 bits without any major problems. I have also confirmed that I wasn't running 2 instances of Clipjump previously...

avi-aryan 2014-05-11 09:37

@Midas Thank you. I also gave the test release to another user facing a different prob on 64-bit system. Read

This is one awesome clipboard manager. And it's very light on system.

shnbwmn 2016-02-07 08:37

You know a program's good when it's written in AHK. And you also know it's going to be light on system resources. Seriously, AHK is mandatory for anyone who's serious about being productive on a computer.
